[locked to other super-heroes]
I was recently offered the dare/suggestion by an alternate Earth version of Dick "Robin" Grayson that I should try for a team-up with other young heroes and see what happened.  While that hasn't fallen into place just yet, I have been giving it a lot of thought.  I like being a part of the JSA, but there is a part of me that wonders if striking out on my own (or rather, on my own with others), wouldn't do the world some good.  Sure, the Justice Society does a great job protecting everybody here on good old Earth-Two...

But over on Earth-One, there's more teams than you can shake a stick at.  The Justice League, the Teen Titans, the Outsiders, the new Doom Patrol, the Challengers of the Unknown, and probably a bunch that I'm missing.

So like I said, I've been giving it a lot of thought.

Right off the bat, there's the Star-Spangled Kid.  Considering he's heading toward his mid-twenties, I'm not exactly sure he counts as a "kid" anymore, but Sylvester's one of the best guys around.  He should actually be around Dick's age, but he skipped several decades, along with the other Seven Soldiers of Victory, by means of a time-warp.  Smart as a whip too, worked on Ted Knight's cosmic rod technology to create the Cosmic Converter Belt.  He's also confided in my that he'd actually been considering putting together a new team.

And, of course, there's Kara, aka Power Girl.  Superman's cousin and my best friend in the whole world.  Hot-headed, but ultimately sweet once you get past that, she'd be the first person I'd ask if I was going to do anything.

There's also Speedy, Green Arrow's sidekick and likewise member of the Seven Soliders like Syl.  Also caught in a timewarp, he, like most of the Soldiers, chose retirement.  But he's still around our age, so it might be something to coax him out of retirement.

And there's Sandy, the Sandman's partner.  Younger than he should be, because of a lot of time spent in suspended animation as a silicon based monster, he's also apparently developed some level of geomorphic abilities.   He's semi-retired, but you know how long that lasts in this business.

Other persons of interest I'm looking into...

Lyta Trevor is the daughter of Diana "Wonder Woman" Prince and Steve Trevor.   She has all her mother's amazonian abilities, albeit at a somewhat reduced level.  Haven't seen her in a few years, but Diana's always talking about how proud she is of her.

Which makes up for the fact that Hawkman and Hourman are always complaining about their sons, Hector Hall and Rick Tyler.   Especially poor Rick.  Rex just doesn't seem to think that anything he does is worthwhile.  Hector's all right, though he's got a lot of issues with his dad never seeming to have enough time for him.  On the other hand, neither of them have super-powers or have shown any interest in following in the family business.  (Rex has actually forbidden Rick from doing so.)

Albert Rothsten is the godson of the Atom and Firebrand (a retired female crime fighter from the All-Star Squadron).  He was a pretty shrimpy kid, but his atomic genes, inherited from his grandfather, the criminal Cyclotron, seem to have kicked in recently.

There's also Jessie Chambers, the daughter of World War II heroes Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle.  The one I met in the Nexus definitely had super-powers, so I'm guessing ours must too.  Jessie reminds me of me, a bit, actually, a bit of a prodigy and a definite go-getter.

I should probably also mention David and Jack Knight, Starman's sons.  David's apparently expressed interest in picking up the Star-legacy, though Jack seems to have no interest in it at all.

Those are everyone I know of, though I'm sure there are more.  There were dozens of crime-fighters during the War years, I'm sure a lot of them have families of some sort.

It's all worthy thinking about, for sure.
